The inaugural Muslim World Priority Meeting on Indonesia was held in Penang, Kuala Lumpur between 26 – 28 December 2014.
The meeting brought together Muslim leaders from different backgrounds to discuss current issues.
The meeting sought to:
- To get participants to acknowledge the existence of and outline what they feel are problems
- To get participants to map what they feel is the current situation and from where they believe problems emanate
- To kick start or facilitate further discussion about community reconciliation and proactive cooperation
- To suggest activities or strategies to be undertaken in the next 8 months for co-operation that MWP – Indo 2 can follow up on.
